Functionize Welcomes Dennis Ashby as to the Executive Leadership Team helping to Revolutionize Software Testing

San Francisco, CA – Functionize is thrilled to announce that Dennis Ashby, a seasoned executive from IBM, will be joining the team as the Executive Head of Customer Success, Strategic Partnerships and Growth. His vast experience in AI, Data, and Automation will be pivotal in propelling Functionize towards its mission of modernizing the software testing industry through cutting-edge generative AI technology.

At IBM, Dennis served as the Global Vice President of Sales, leading global sales strategies and driving significant growth in bookings and revenue across the company's AI, Data, and Automation consulting sectors. His tenure at IBM was marked by his ability to blend technical expertise with sales acumen, spearheading business development and fostering key customer engagements worldwide.

Prior to IBM, Dennis honed his leadership and technical skills over two decades, contributing to pioneering projects from early banking e-commerce sites to the latest in artificial intelligence applications. His profound impact on the tech industry is also documented in his book, “APIs for Dummies, 3rd Edition”, which has become an essential resource for business leaders navigating digital transformation.

Dennis also serves as a member of the Dean's Advisory Board at Hofstra University's DeMatteis School of Engineering and Applied Science where he is actively engaged in shaping the strategic direction of the school, ensuring it remains at the forefront of engineering and applied science education.
